Gulf Islands National Seashore — Davis Bayou Area

The Davis Bayou unit near Ocean Springs has short nature trails and a boardwalk through marsh and bayou habitat where gators are occasionally seen, most often in warmer months. It's a quiet, easy stop compared to the seashore's barrier islands. Stay on the boardwalk and trail rather than approaching the bayou bank directly. No feeding of any wildlife in the park.
