Grand Bay National Wildlife Refuge

One of the largest coastal marsh and pine savanna refuges on the Gulf, with gators regularly seen in the bayous and marsh pools along the refuge's trails. Warmer months bring the most gator activity out on the banks. Trails here are less developed than the bigger coastal parks, so bring insect repellent and expect a quieter visit. Stay on marked trails and keep well back from any water you're viewing.
