Meaher State Park
Set on the edge of the Mobile-Tensaw Delta, this small park's boardwalk and fishing pier put visitors right over gator habitat, most active in the warmer months. It pairs well with a stop at the neighboring Five Rivers Delta Resource Center for a fuller delta visit. Stay on the boardwalk and pier rather than walking down to the marsh grass. No feeding of any wildlife in the park.
