Historic Blakeley State Park
This large delta park combines Civil War history with boardwalk trails over Tensaw Delta wetlands, where gators are a common sight in warmer months. The Delta Explorer boat tour offers a closer, guided look at the wider marsh beyond what the boardwalks reach. Stay on the boardwalk rail and keep a real distance if you're viewing from the riverbank areas. No feeding, and watch footing on the boardwalk after rain.
