Arkansas Post National Memorial
This historic site along the Arkansas River has wetland trails and river frontage where gators are occasionally seen in the warmer months, near the edge of their range in the state. The short nature trail loop is the most likely spot for a sighting near the water. Keep to the trail and a real distance from the riverbank. Sightings are irregular here, so visit for the history first and treat a gator as a bonus.
